We had a 1950's themed wedding and I was looking for a certain type of tea length dress...which seemed impossible to find in central MN. I ordered two dresses online from overseas...which were a waste of my time and money.
The Thursday before the wedding I stopped in the store to pay for our flowers...which were also amazing. My sister-in-law asked to use the restroom. Sue said, "Oh sorry, it looks like the light was left on".
When I looked back I saw this light this gorgeous...actually, I don't even think there is a word to describe this dress. It was that amazing. It was like something out of a movie. I asked, "Is that a tea length dress?" She said, "Yes, would you like to try it on?" I said, "No, it won't fit." Jen looked at the size and it was my size. I tried it on and fell in LOVE with it.
That was my dress! It was passed closing and they almost had to hold me down and rip it off me. I was grinning ear to ear! I decided to sleep on it since I had already bought three wedding dresses. They priced the dress out and told me to come back in the morning if I wanted to get it. I showed my Mom, Dad, sister, best friend, and soon to be inlaws and they said "GET IT!" I barely slept a wink that night.
I grabbed my mom and sister-in-law and flew to the store so we were there when it opened. Jen and Sue both laughed when they saw me that morning. The only thing that needed alterations was the lace on the shoulders and they said they could do it that day. Where else can you go that would do alterations that SAME day on a wedding dress?
We also got our bridesmaid's dresses there, which were made of good solid material and flattered everyone's figure. Sue and Jen put up with all the very opinionated bridesmaid's comments. Jen and Sue did a phenomenal job and went above and beyond my expectations.
I've visited a ton of stores on this voyage for the perfect dress and these ladies are hands down the best vendor! They made our day very special!
